In Russia in the Kaluga region crashed a long-range supersonic missile-bomber Tu-22M3, which participated in the Russian-Belarusian exercises “West-2017”.
It is known that it happened at the airbase Shaykovka. According to the official version, the plane snapped one of the struts, and it rolled out from the runway.
The bomber was found a few hundred meters from the runway. The body of the aircraft is seriously damaged and it is not subject to restoration. The crew of the Tu-22M3 was not injured.
