Two installations for the processing of cyclohexane caught fire at the company “KuibyshevAzot” in the Samara region of the Russian Federation. The fire area is 500 square meters.

Press Secretary of “KuibyshevAzot” Elena Kosova told TASS that the fire is localized, there were no injuries.

“The fire is currently contained. There were no injuries. Threats to nearby shops and facilities, especially for the city, no, no,” – said Kosovo.

The fire occurred in the open area of the enterprise. The fire was given the third number of complexity. The feed of cyclohexane was blocked. On-site work by the laboratory carrying out measurements of air.

As noted in the GU Ministry of emergency situations in the region, exceeding the maximum allowable concentration is not fixed, threats to the population there. According to the interlocutor of the Agency, cyclohexane does not apply to chemically hazardous substances.
