The Kremlin again intends to reduce the number of U.S. diplomats in Russia and will change the format of the diplomatic mission.
This was stated by the Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov.
“If they took the parity as a criterion, we now consider the conditions in which the work of American missions in Russia and Russian in the United States and will bring these conditions into full compliance with what is called parity,” he said.
The Minister explained that such a move would be a response to Washington’s actions, the requirement of which was closed by the Consulate General of Russia in San Francisco.
