In Russia, a 12% increase in the number of delinquencies on loans

To date, the Russians have accumulated 14 million of loans overdue more than 90 days. Since the beginning of year this indicator increased by 12%, says RIA “Novosti” with reference to the President of the National Association of professional collection agencies (NAPCA), Elman Mehdiyev.

He recalled that three years ago the default was only 10 million credits, and in the beginning of this year — 12,5 million According to Mehdiyev, the growing number of overdue loans is associated with “the difficult situation with the real income of the population, when there is not enough money for the next payment”.

Earlier, Federal state statistics service reported that real disposable incomes of Russians in the first half of 2019 has decreased by 1.3% in annual terms. In the second quarter the decline slowed to 0.2% (in the first half it was 2.5%).

The Bank of Russia suggests that the arrears of pisilis to credit organizations exceeds 759 billion. But however, I am sure that this statistic is based on the company and does not take into account interest and penalties. Consequently, the real amount of debt are more at least twice.
