The authorities of Dagestan have identified the cause of water pollution in the city of Khasavyurt, which was a mass poisoning, said the press service of the Ministry of health of the Republic.
“An acute intestinal infection ill 72 children and 14 adults. It happened in the city of Khasavyurt. According to preliminary data, the poisoning occurred because of the water. Rospotrebnadzor experts searching for the source of contamination,” – said the press service.
In turn, the press service of the regional government reported that the emergency has left the Prime Minister of the Republic Artem zdunov.
“First and foremost we need to ensure podvesnoy water and to inform the population about the need to boil water. In addition, with the involvement of young physicians and volunteer corps should organize a house-to-house for preventive conversations with residents,” said Zdunov.
