The remains were found just a worker
Alleged relics of the Apostle were discovered in a clay vessel in the medieval Church of Santa Maria in Capella in the Roman quarter of Trastevere.
The find was made by workers, raised on a marble slab near the altar of the Church, which – due to deterioration – for 35 years remained closed to the public. He found two earthenware vessels of the Roman age, the lids of which were written, what they contain bone fragments of Saint Peter and three other early Popes and martyrs four. The bone fragments already transferred for DNA analysis and further study of the Vicariate of Rome.
They were sealed and were to compare with samples whose membership has already been installed.
