Two children 13 and 14 years old, died in the County of Hunedoara in Romania in an avalanche in the mountains Retezat at an altitude of 1800 meters above sea level. This was stated by the Secretary of state of the interior Ministry of Romania Raed Arafat.
“As a result of an avalanche killed two children. Five tourists escaped with a fright, to their life threatens nothing”, said Arafat.
He noted that rescue operations are hampered due to adverse weather conditions (in the Romanian mountains, snow, and meteorologists warned the day before about the yellow level mediaopened in these places).
The Inspectorate of emergency situations urges citizens to refrain from extreme tourist trips, especially in humid weather danger.
