The new rules will operate from January next year.
With January 2018 and shall enter into force new rules of employment of foreigners in Poland, a Declaration of intention to employ a foreigner will replace paid-for permits for seasonal work. This was announced by the Director of the County Department of labor in the city Grojec Magana of Skoczek.
The procedure of seasonal work covers agriculture, horticulture, tourism and gastronomy industry. “These permits for seasonal work are of two types: two stages of granting permissions will relate to aliens who are outside the borders of Poland, and one step – foreigners who are in Poland and are approved for legal residence on other grounds” – said Skoczek.
Against foreigners residing outside Poland, the employer will make a statement on the granting of permits for seasonal work on the basis of which a foreigner can open a visa to Poland. Foreigners with biometric passports will be able to enter with such a solution in Poland without a visa. The employer is obliged to register the foreign worker in the office.
