In Oxford there was a powerful explosion, which destroyed three-storey residential building and caught fire boat.
In consequence of the incident, several people were injured.
Local residents reported that they had heard something similar to a sonic boom: “floor Boards and the Windows vibrated. I knew it was some kind of explosion. I went out and saw a huge column of smoke”; “It sounded like a bomb. It was very very scary, I was completely shocked”.
One of them said: “a Powerful explosion occurred in the boat yard here in Oxford. I hope no one was hurt.”
