The pedestrian died instantly.
In the center of Odessa bus hit a pedestrian. Under the wheels of public transport has hit the 80-year-old woman from the received traumas she has died on the spot.
The tragedy occurred today at around 9:00, at the crossroads between the Privoz market and the bus station.
“The bus was turned from Catherine street to the left and made arrival on the woman-the pedestrian which crossed the road at the crossroads”, – said the press service of the patrol police of Odessa.
According to the cops, from the received traumas the woman died instantly. To a scene there arrived police officers, doctors and rescuers. Employees of gschs got the body of a woman from under the bus.
Note that Odessans often complain about this stretch of road due to the constant congestion of public transport and people with trucks that come from the market directly on the roadway.
