In Odessa, hacker virus partially blocked the work of the city Council

Petya virus that attacked 27 Jun computer systems in Ukraine and Russia, Odessa, partially blocked the work of the Odessa city Council.

In the city Council work with all servers and workstations under the Linux operating system, including the official site, the service, 15-35, system center and administrative services and more. In the Odessa regional administration, the correspondent of “Interfax-Ukraine” assured that in their work, the virus is not affected.

As found by the journalists of news agencies, as a result of actions of the virus can not work well as a number of private companies of Odessa. Primarily subsidiaries and divisions of the Ukrainian enterprises and organizations: delivery services, automobile service centers, branches of banks, shops etc. Also some problems due to the virus experienced by the employees of PJSC “Odesagas” and PJSC “Odessaoblenergo”. However, the scale of their problems, the Agency found it difficult to name, and official comments from the companies could not be obtained.
