The film, formerly known as “Safe area” (Safe Neighborhood), got a premiere date and a new name. Now it is called Better Watch Out, what can be translated as “Better watch out”. Or “Better look out”, or even “Be careful”, well, you understand.
What about the movie?
Winter Christmas eve in the quiet, snow-covered American suburb. Ashley works as a nurse at Deandra and Robert Lerners, looking after their 12-year-old son. But this evening she has to stand up for the boy when the house starts to break strangers… and this is no ordinary robbery attempt.
The Director Chris Peckover. He shared with Zack Kahn is a co-author of the script. In the caste there are Patrick Warburton (a very charismatic actor, acted mostly in the Comedy series “Claudia, come on!”), Virginia Madsen (also an excellent actress, an Oscar nominee for his role in the tragicomedy “On the side”), Dacre Montgomery (it will appear in the second season “Very strange things”) and finally Olivia DeJong (the young actress, but appeared at M. night Shyamalan in “the Visit”) as the same Ashley.
Reviewer of horror online Bloody Disgusting calls the picture “a truly crazy tale about a home invasion”. In my opinion, sounds like fun. How then to define the genre of the tape? The Comedy of terrors? Christmas Thriller? Anyway, the movie was still “Safe area”, was presented last year at Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas, and I must say, the viewers ‘ estimates are quite good. The same IMDb rating is kept at around 7.00.
In short, I think “Better look” one day will help you to brighten up the evening. Fortunately, the company Well Go USA has acquired distribution rights to the picture and is now planning her theatrical and digital release this year — namely, 6 Oct.
