Norwegian archaeologists have discovered bronze axes and other weapons by the age of three thousand years.
The weapon was discovered in 44 kilometers from the city of Trondheim.
Initially, the discovery was made by Amateur archaeologists using metal detectors. They found nine axes, spear-heads, moulds and fragments of Lura – an ancient musical instrument. Scientists from the Norwegian University of life Sciences and engineering were notified about the discovery, and then began digging.
Just the researchers were able to find 30 artifacts, including 24 of the axe. According to researchers, they date back to the Bronze age, that is 1100 – 500 BC.
