Netishyn ship caught fire while performing hot work.

Today in Nikolaev on a site of the company Smart Maritime Group (black sea shipyard – ed.) caught fire sea diving vessel netishin U700 naval forces of Ukraine. About it reports the local edition Nikvesti with reference to the employees of the company.

“At the moment, five crews of rescuers extinguish a fire,” – said the source.

The ship caught fire while performing hot work the metal replacement with the use of open flames.

It is also reported that the plant received a contract to repair the vessel netishin cost about 6 million hryvnia, which involves repairs of the ship, replacement of the metal plating of the outer hull, repair propeller-rudder system, bottom-side reinforcement, cleaning, painting and a number of other works that cannot be performed afloat.
