In Nicaragua burned alive a 25-year-old girl

The priest burned the girl on the fire during a session of exorcism.

In Nicaragua the priest-Evangelist was burned at the stake with was dumped in a ravine 25-year-old woman, to exorcise “evil spirits.”

The tragedy occurred in a remote village in the Autonomous region of atlántico Norte. For Wilma Trujillo was attacked by a group of four. They stripped her and threw it into the fire. A few hours later the relatives found Wilma. A young woman received burns to 80% of the body and a week later died in hospital.

Police later arrested on this case 23-year-old Juan ROCO. He led the group of attackers. The man said that the woman was possessed by demons that held her in the air above the fire. Then the demons left her body and she fell into the fire.

In the Church the “Society of God”, which reportedly belongs Rocha, stated that he is not a priest.

– Authorities should, to the fullest extent of the law to punish those who committed this crime to prevent similar occurrences in the future, – said Pablo Cuevas, Advisor to the nongovernmental Permanent Commission on human rights.

He also added that the inhabitants of some rural regions of Nicaragua consider people with mental disabilities “obsessed with the evil spirit”, and instead seek medical assistance, give them to the priests.

Public and human rights organizations condemned the crime, calling it “a model of fanaticism and misogyny”. The Commission on the protection of human rights in Nicaragua called on the police to closely monitor those activities of religious organizations.
