In Madagascar, archaeologists have found a “killer dinosaurs”

Scientists have found the remains of the animal that killed the dinosaurs.

Madagascar managed to find the remains of ancient creatures. It was the lizard, which is very reminiscent of a modern crocodile, and was probably its ancestor. This lizard lived on our planet for 165 million years. At that time there still existed the dinosaurs.

According to scientists, ancient lizard successfully eat these huge creatures.

Early similar remains have been found. But they were not complete. Scientists could not determine who was the ancestor of a crocodile or a carnivorous dinosaur. Now, when Madagascar was found a skeleton without missing pieces, managed to put an end to this issue. The animal was indeed an ancient crocodile that ate other animals.

The researchers noted that ancient crocodiles were specific. They are well traveled by land due to the fact that their legs were straight and located at the bottom. Modern reptiles have legs, located on each side. This prevents them to be fast on land.

The head of the ancient lizard was big. Its size has reached a modern washing machine.
