Half-meter eggs graced the center of the city.
In the Lion city launched a traditional pre-Easter Pysanka Festival. Half-meter eggs, painted and decorated by craftsmen, occupied a whole square in front of the Dominican Cathedral.
A collection of Easter eggs which were created during previous festivals, and was held in Lviv for eight, will complement the new symbols of the Passover. They will be created and razukrashivaya of different materials on the same site. The process anyone can join. All work will be put on public display.
As noted by the Director of the festival Andriy Sydor, feature of this festival will be the marathon “a Good deal – anyone can do it!”, during which public organizations of the city, together with donors will create a platform for good.
And before the feast of the Resurrection will be held quest around Lviv, which will need to find the giant Easter eggs placed around the city.
The festival will be held master-classes on making candles-Easter eggs in Lviv candle manufactory and painting Easter eggs under the guidance of renowned masters. A portion of the cost of each master class will be transferred to a “Good deal”.
