In Lithuania built Villa “soaring” in the air

The first floor is tiled with dark stone, while the upper part is made of wood and glass. From afar it seems that the second floor hung in the air.

The Lithuanian architectural practice Arches recently graduated from the construction of the Villa, located in a forested area near the city Raguva (Raguva).

The owners desired a modern home with distinct living areas. The architects designed the Villa is L-shaped. The house turned so that sunlight can penetrate the room during the daylight hours.

Lower level is partially hidden in the hillside. It is lined with dark slate stone and not immediately noticeable on the background of the natural landscape. The level above is made of steel, wood and glass.

The large Windows from the living room, kitchen and dining room offer stunning views of the green valley. The master bedroom is in another wing of the house, facing the woods.
