In Kiev will start functioning municipal guard

The work of the organization will attract members of ATU.

Kiev city Council has established municipal enterprise “Municipal guard”.

For the adoption of the draft decision voted by 61 MPs at the minimum required 61.

The initiator of the draft decision is the mayor of Kyiv, head of Kyiv city state administration Vitali Klitschko.

Municipal security is intended to strengthen the protection of public institutions such as educational institutions, utilities and other objects of municipal property.

The municipal security will attract participants of the antiterrorist operation.

Municipal guard should be fully financed from the municipal budget.

According to the revision of the Commission on budget and socio-economic development, the authorized capital of the company should make 2,5 million hryvnias.

The scope of activities will cover a wide range of services, from physical security to software creation “develop its own products” in the sphere of security activities, and the implementation of other economic activities aimed at earning profit.
