The Cabinet approved the construction of the passenger terminal and service facilities KP “international airport Zaporozhye” on the street Blue, 4 in the Shevchenko district of Zaporozhye. This decision was taken at a government meeting on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman during a meeting of the government said that the construction of the airport in Zaporizhia would occur at the expense of local funds.
In turn, the mayor of Zaporozhye Vladimir Buryak, thanked the government for its support and added that the construction of the airport will be allocated 200 million UAH of budgetary funds.
At the same time, the Minister of ecology and natural resources Semerak noted that the construction project should be coordinated with the Ministry of environment. He therefore proposed to approve, with the approval of this document in their Department.
