In Kiev there are 55 illegally installed gas filling points, which capital service dismantled in the near future. About Kiev mayor Vitaly Klitschko said during an inspection of the dismantling of the illegal filling point on Grigorenko str.

“Over the last two weeks in Kiev 236 dismantled illegally installed gas stations. I want to note that experts estimate that last year, they implemented 126 thousand tons or 70% of the total volume of liquefied natural gas. And the budget of Kyiv and the country received less because of this, more than 500 million UAH”, – said the mayor.

Vitali Klitschko noted that the gas station on the street Grigorenko, which was dismantled capital services, placed on the land which was taken for Parking.

“A representative of the owner she confirmed that it intended purpose – Parking zone, but as you can see, it is used as a gas station,” said the mayor.

Vitali Klitschko said that in the event of an emergency on the gas filling the range of the explosion can reach a kilometer.
“Last year, an explosion occurred on one of these objects. Fortunately, has done without victims. Our task – to make so that dangerous objects do not appear where they should not be. They are a potential threat to residents of neighboring houses, because they are located too close to homes, without permission of the administration and the relevant services”, – said Vitaly Klitschko.

Now there are gas stations in Kiev there are 55 and they will be dismantled in the near future.

“Today we also perform regular removal of such object. We need to restore order in this sphere and to do everything to help businesses in a legal way,” said the mayor.
