In public organizations say that this is a consequence of large-scale construction on the threat of moving slopes of Andriyivsky descent.
“In the private house №16, on the border with land illegal construction of the hotel complex, OOO “Markon” there was a sudden and deep subsidence of the soil directly next to a private residential home. A collapse of the soil occurred at the site drainage system KP SUPPR, directly on the tunnel”, – said the activists and published photos from the scene of the incident.
It is noted that subsidence continued, resulting in open support of the retaining wall, built by OOO “Markon”.
As of the morning of August 16 the situation is very complicated. Overnight, the failure is almost doubled.
Around 10:00 employees of KP “SUPPR” started filling failure on the Andreevskom, 16 – “the period of development and decision-making to strengthen the slope and site drainage system.”
“We have repeatedly drawn the attention of Kyiv residents to illegal construction of a multistory hotel on the Uzviz, 14. Together with you we have signed several open letters to Parliament, the government and local authorities, we have repeatedly appealed to law enforcement agencies. However, construction continues,” – noted activists.
