Obolon in Kyiv appeared a new historical mural entitled “Back to the roots” (back to the roots).
Wall the image was made in one of the elevators at prospect Malinowski 30. Its author – Dima Fatum. He reportedly tried to depict the history of the Minsk array of Kiev, who have started since before Christmas.
The image of the mural – many hidden references to certain people, objects, and historical events.
Among them is a hoard of coins of the Roman Empire, the biggest in Europe, fire Department and even the military Marshal of the Soviet Union, which was immortalized on a street in Obolon.
“In my picture, the artist told the story of the Minsk array. The plot covers several key eras: the history of the Obolon in ancient times, Kievan Rus’, Christianization of Kievan Rus ‘and the others down to the present day” – said about the song.
