In Kiev has opened “Bridge of Lovers”

Place of lovers sparkle with new colors.

Park bridge, or as it is called, “lovers ‘ Bridge”, has received a modern, dynamic, artistic lighting. This reports the press service of the KSCA.

Inspected the quality of the art lighting bridge which connects the City garden and kreschaty Park, Director of the Department of transport infrastructure KSCA Sergei Simonov.

“The Kiev government is systematically working on improving the tourist attractiveness of the capital. Now the evening coverage of such iconic places of Kiev as a Pedestrian bridge and St. Andrew’s Church added the coverage of “Bridge of lovers”. New lighting equipment was installed on behalf of the mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko. The next step in this direction will be upgrading the lighting Sophia and the Bessarabsky market”, – said Simonov.

According to the authors of the project, the artistic lighting of the bridge took almost a year. Because the building is a monument of architecture, lighting equipment should be inconspicuous as possible so as not to spoil the view of the bridge in the daytime. However, despite all the difficulties, the project managed to complete decently.

As noted by Sergei Simonov, “the city will continue to work systematically on the question not only artistic, but also functional lighting, because an integrated approach requires all of the light network of the capital lighting of roads, outdoor areas, parks, etc.”
