In Kiev found a way to save on heating in schools

Savings first and foremost.

200 Kiev schools has established a system of remote control, which reduce the cost of energy resources. This was at a meeting with journalists said the Deputy head of Kyiv city state administration Petr Panteleyev.

“This year we launched the system of remote management of heating supply in schools. Today in Kiev, 400 schools are equipped with the latest modern systems. And 200 of them are equipped with remote control systems that allow us to get online to see any indicators for coolant, water, electricity,” — said the Deputy head.

According to him, the temperature sensor mode installed on the facades of schools, and in the coldest classes, reports 44.ua.

“Accordingly, we can remotely reduce or increase the temperature that will allow you to set a comfortable temperature in the classrooms and to optimally use energy. For example, we have now winter holidays. We can mitigate the heat. And in schools where there are clubs or sections, on the evening the temperature to rise. In Ukraine anywhere else no such practice”, — said Panteleev.

Such a system next year only 200 schools will save 32 million UAH.

“Due to the fact that the increased price of gas for budget establishments, respectively, will increase the cost of heat energy for budget establishments by 1.6 times. And this event is our response to the rising cost of heat. And pays for the heating of schools and kindergartens, the city is a live budget funds”, — said the Deputy head of KCSA.
