SBU continues searches.
In national police and security service of Ukraine said that law enforcement found in Kiev a cache of weapons and ammunition that allegedly could be used during today’s events near the Verkhovna Rada. About it reports a press-service of the Channel.
First Deputy head of the national police Vyacheslav Abroskin reported that as a result of realization of operational information police together with the security service conducted a number of investigations. “During the tests, the police seized weapons, ammunition and explosives”, – stated in the message. Abroskin said that the searches continue.
Abroskin said that the person who arranged this hiding place will be prosecuted.
Also in a press-service of the Channel reported that “the Deputy head of the SBU Victor Kononenko noted that law enforcement seized items could be used during today’s events near the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and to destabilize the situation in the country and triggering clashes, which could have negative consequences”.
“We clearly understand who did this “tab” and who had intended to buy specifics. I believe that in the context of criminal proceedings, these persons will be identified and their guilt is proven,” said Kononenko.
In the police reminded, urged MPs and activists not to interfere with the investigation in the Metropolitan Museum street.
Advisor to the Minister of internal Affairs Zorian Shkiryak on his page on Facebook wrote that the search was conducted “in the garage of citizen M, which has a direct bearing on the formation of Konstantin Grishin. During a search of the seized Arsenal of weapons: AKS, 5 grenades RGD-5, zinc box of rounds of 5.45”.
As previously reported, about 100 national guardsmen and police blocked in the yard in the Museum street a group of protesters under the Rada. The interior Ministry explained that the investigation on the fact of theft of military property.
