Monday, may 13, in Kiev continues a large-scale shutdown of hot water for a period of two weeks.
As stated in a press-service KP “Kyivvodocanal” it is connected with necessity of carrying out of hydraulic tests on water supply systems. That is, the pipelines under high pressure will be tested for strength.
“In Kiev, continuing the planned hydraulic tests for the preparation of heat networks for work in autumn-winter period. 13 and 14 may “Kievteploenergo” will test the network on a hydraulic density to 4 heat sources. Hydraulic tests at each site will last at least 14 days,” said the utility.
“On may 13, hydraulic pressure test will start heat sources “ST 2”. Therefore the services of centralized hot water supply will be temporarily absent in Obolonskyi and Podilskyi districts. 14 may trials will be held on the heat sources: LCD “Youth”, “CT-1” and “TPP-5”. Therefore, testing the hot water will be absent in the Shevchenko, golosievskyi, Solomenskiy, caves and Darnytskyi areas.
