The greatest Christian holiday on the territory of the “Sophia of Kyiv” will be held educational and entertainment activities from 14 April to 21 may.
Easter in the National reserve “Sophia of Kyiv” will present the project “Ask the angel” is a complex artistic and educational events that will be held on-site from 14 April to 21 may. For visitors will be conducted various activities, including workshops, exhibitions, concerts, quests, presentations of children’s books, interactive tours and the like.
This year for the feast of the resurrection of Christ on the reserve will install sculptures of angels with exclusive needs. After all, angels for Christians, first and foremost, are harbingers of good news and guards from all evil. According to the organizers, all visitors will hear “the ones”, the right words.
The project will be an exhibition “Angels of Ukraine” of Lviv artist Natalya Kuriy-Maksymiv, known in Ukraine and far beyond her painting technique on glass. The artist has created a series of images of the guardian angels of each region of Ukraine.
In the hall, “the Gates of Zaborovsky” will place an Easter tree, decorated with a stylized “Easter eggs” of stained glass.
Exclusive jewellery for the installation was produced by students of the “Academy of art beauty” specifically for the project, “Ask an angel”. Style glass “Easter eggs” are reminiscent of the legendary Murano glass, decorated like a traditional Ukrainian painting and the author’s style.
April 14 at 16.00 everyone will be able to be the first to ask angel and enjoy Easter novelties with your own eyes.
