In Kiev detained by a police officer-the bribe taker

The militiaman demanded from the inhabitant of Kiev five thousand dollars to close the criminal proceedings.

The Prosecutor’s office of Kiev, the security service and the Department of homeland security, the national police arrested on suspicion of bribery 38-year-old employee of the Dnieper district office Metropolitan police.

According to the Prosecutor, the militiaman demanded from the Kiev five thousand dollars (125 million UAH) to close criminal proceedings, the defendant was the last one. In SBU added: for the money the police also promised to return the man’s property taken during the search. The attacker was caught red-handed near the place of work when he received the first part of a bribe in the amount of 52 thousand UAH. To it can threaten from 8 till 12 years of prison with confiscation.
