The power plant was 15 thousand liters per month
Employees of tax militia of Kiev region together with the regional Prosecutor’s office liquidated in the capital of the underground plant, which produced the forged alcoholic beverages. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the State fiscal service (SFS) of Ukraine Sergey Bilan in Facebook.
“During the operation “Excise-2017″ and the investigation of criminal proceedings opened under part 1 of article 199 (manufacture, possession, acquisition, transport, transfer, import to Ukraine with a sales objective or sale of counterfeit money, public securities or state lottery tickets) of the Criminal code, it was found that on the territory of Kiev is the illegal production and sales through the Internet of counterfeit alcohol. The power plant was 15 thousand liters per month, ” wrote Bilan.
The police seized more than 1150 liters of alcohol without excise tax stamps of the established sample, and also the equipment that was used in illegal activities. The total cost of the withdrawn makes 850 thousand hryvnias.
