On Wednesday evening, the activists of the National housing burned an effigy of Vladimir Lenin in Central Kiev, where once was located a monument to the leader of the world proletariat.
“We are trying to expel the remnants of the Soviet ideology, and to show that it has no place in the future of our country”, – said one of the organizers.
After a session of “exorcism” workers of municipal services have removed the “remnants” of Lenin.
