The Kiev funicular resumed operations after the annual maintenance work at 12.00 on August 16.
According to the Kyivpastrans, the specialists conducted routine maintenance and the overhaul of individual units. In particular, repaired equipment, cars, electronic, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic equipment actuators; conducted static and dynamic tests.
Specialists of the Gosgorpromnadzor checked the operation of the funicular and allowed operation for the next year.
Repair work lasted from July 17 to August 16.
Kiev funicular is open daily from 7:00 to 22:00. The bottom stop is near the metro station Pochtovaya square, upper – street three saints (St Michael’s monastery).
