The participants of the protest action against the destruction of the graffiti times square, near shop “the Emporium” smashed the window of the store, poured paint and set fire to tires at the shop door.
This is reported by the protesters and journalists in social networks.
Earlier today it was reported that from the front of the furniture store on the street Hrushevsky in Kyiv erased Patriotic graffiti depicting Taras Shevchenko, Ivan Franko and Lesya Ukrainka.
The owner of the shop Igor Dotsenko explained his actions by saying that graffiti are “typical street art, which from time to time remove utilities”. Dotsenko said that visitors can buy reproductions of these graffiti on the market. To the remark that because of his decisions destroyed the original works, Dotsenko has not responded.
