In the village Hromovka, Kherson region fighter ATO has committed suicide after confession from the local priest, known for his anti-Ukrainian activities.
About this on his page in Facebook said the journalist Love Lagutenko.
“The soldier was wounded, went to Church to find peace of comfort. After priest’s confession came and hanged himself. We can only guess that advised him a provocateur with a cross,” she said.
The journalist said that after that the pastor demanded that Atoshnik is not buried in the village cemetery.
“Although it is still not paid attention to suicides, where would there buried. Here, rather, the policy is to intimidate the villagers not to go to defend their land,” – says Lagutenko.
The Abbot of Holy protection Church in the Kherson diocese of UOC-KP Sergey Chudinovich confirmed that the tomb really is defiantly on the edge of the cemetery. However, he said that the locals absolutely do not share the position of “agent of the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine.”
“Spoke with the village head. He acknowledged that in 2014, this priest, father Alexander Pavlik, carried out anti-state activities, speaking as a separatist, and it came to profess SBU… But, they say, since nothing says,” added Chudinovich.
