In Italy, the cops staged a real hunt for the leaders of the mafia

Police launched a full-scale operation.

In Italy more than a thousand police launched an operation against members of the Italian organized crime group the ‘ Ndrangheta.

The operation occurs in the South of the country. To it involved helicopters, dogs and teams that spetsializiruyutsya on detection of bunkers and other shelters.

The operation aimed at the arrest of 116 people from 24 families of criminals, who are accused of extortion, fraud, illegal weapons possession and other offenses.

As reported, more than a decade one of the largest migration centers of Italy was controlled by the mafia.
