19 km from the capital of Indonesia is Jakarta on the outskirts of Lords is the largest in Asia, the Bantar Gebang waste landfill.
Huge dump, which every day brought about 9 thousand tons of garbage, was home to 3000 families. Living in makeshift shelters people are sorting garbage and selling “valuable” finds. French photographer Alexander Sattler (Alexandre Sattler) visited the site to show the conditions in which live the inhabitants of the dump.
