It is possible that the figure could increase dramatically.
Landslide in Northern India was caused by monsoon rains. The elements carried two passenger buses from the slope on the highway in a deep gorge.
As reports “Radio Freedom”, the police explained that the buses were parked on the highway. Shortly before the landslide occurred, some passengers left the bus to eat. Element took the vehicle to a 800-foot chasm, with one of them turned out to be completely underground.
The authorities announced that about 300 rescuers were trying to dig a bus under tons of boulders and dirt.
“45 bodies were found during the day. 14 of them, all men, were identified. Five people were saved,” – said the representative of the rescuers.
