Activists propose to rename the square in front of the Embassy of the Russian Federation,
Kiev proposed to rename the square near the Russian Embassy in honor of the murdered October 30 Amines Okoawo.
A petition with a proposal registered on the website of the Kiev city Council on October 31.
“The square in Solomenskiy district, near the Embassy of the Russian Federation at the intersection of Povitroflotskyi Avenue and street Surikova and Bogdanovskaya to name the deceased at the hands of Russian spies October 30, 2017 of the Hero of Ukraine Okoawo Amines Victorovna,” reads the petition text.
The power of Kiev began consideration of the petition, it must collect 10 thousand signatures.
