Unusual natural phenomenon, which the inhabitants of Helsinki were able to observe on Wednesday, sparked a heated discussion online. The footage, published by one of the witnesses in Twitter, you can see that the sky tightened by clouds, stood out clear terms.
Photographs of strange clouds Finns shared in social networks. From some angles, the phenomenon was like a funnel or a “hole” in the sky.
Concerns of local residents dispelled Finnish meteorological Institute, who explained that the “hole”, most likely, was the result of ice crystals with the “plate” water drops by which the clouds instantly evaporated.
