In Germany, a brigade rescued a stuck in the fence urchin

The hedgehog couldn’t resist the smell of food.

In the German city of Bonn local residents called the fire brigade to free a hedgehog which got stuck in the fence of the football field. The animal had to rescue with the help of bolt cutters. The hedgehog was not hurt, but “visibly tired.”

After a hedgehog was released, the locals took him to his garden, so he rested under the leaves and came to. The same evening he was released.

Expert on hedgehogs, Habits Tinus (Tinus Habich), who works with the “Foundation hedgehogs” explained that hedgehogs often rely on their sense of smell in search of food, and often get stuck in different places, including the pipes.

“When the hedgehog feels the smell of food is all he can think of. They don’t think about the danger, and therefore often get themselves into trouble.

Hedgehogs can’t go back, so constituted their spine, and so I often see how many of them get stuck in the pipes. I would advise people to close access to such places”, – Tinus, Habits, an expert on hedgehogs
