At least 15 people were injured in the result of a lightning strike at a music festival in the North-East of France.
This was reported by the local authorities.
“This Saturday, September 2, about 16 hours (17.00 GMT) in the participants of the festival Vieux Canal in the commune of Azrai was struck by lightning. In total there were 15 people injured, (including) two are in serious condition,” — reads the statement of the prefect of the Department of Meurthe and Moselle, published in Facebook.
According to the statement, on the scene arrived two teams of doctors, 60 firefighters and three patrol of the gendarmerie.
Earlier it was reported that in Kherson the 36-year-old man after a direct hit by lightning not only survived, but emerged largely unscathed.
