A new functionality called M will be available in talk Facebook Messenger and will be able to offer assistance to the user.
In particular, the assistant will be able to send stickers on behalf of the user and also call a taxi, according to a blog Facebook.
Among other functions M: the ability to share location information during a call, billing via Messenger as well as conducting surveys among participants of a group chat.
“Annex M is based on machine learning methods of artificial intelligence. This suggests appropriate actions to help manage conversations or to help achieve goals. To experience the M, just to chat with a friend or group, as usual,” say the developers of the application.
New functionality is already available to owners of devices running operating systems iOS and Android, but only in the US.
“M is launched today for all versions of Android in the US and will eventually come to other countries. But this is just the beginning for M. We expect to see that the assistant will learn more and more and come to each one of a billion users Messenger. The more you communicate, the better M can help you,” – added to Facebook.
