Analyst firm Morgan Stanley has researched the smartphone market in China and came to interesting conclusions.
According to them, the iPhone X has triggered a growing interest among the owners of Android-devices in China to Apple. Analyst Katy Huberty claims that the flagship has rapidly overtaken “eight”.
Data show that the introduction of the iPhone X in China goes faster than the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus.
We believe that there remains substantial pent-up demand from the 2-year-old iPhone owners.
Almost half of the owners of iPhones will upgrade to iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. The percentage of transitions for the new Apple smartphones increased to 9.2% (up 6.7 percent) after the release of the iPhone X.
