In China scientists have discovered a shocking discovery

Archaeologists have found traces of a terrible sacrifice.

Archaeologists have unearthed in the Chinese province Insua is evidence of the terrible sacrifice practiced in Ancient China.

Many skeletons were stored in the same earthen ditch, and in one sacrificial ritual could have died from up to 50 people.

Excavations in this area began in 1928 and lasted for several decades. The total number of the found remains varies at around 13 thousand people, and that sacrifice was practiced during the reign of three dynasties, who ruled for almost 1 thousand years.

During the mass the sacrifice immediately killed 339 people.

Scientists say that the killing people used a variety of techniques and torture, including torture victims were still alive.
