The company BYD has developed a model of the electric bus K12A, which has a record the length of the body.
According to the manufacturer, the development is unique in the world and size significantly ahead of its nearest competitors.
The total bus length is 27 meters.
The body consists of three sections, connected by a special passage. Equipped with a fancy new electric motors. On a fully charged battery the bus can travel about 300 kilometers.
It is noted that the maximum transport capacity is 250 passengers. The maximum speed of the “bus” is at 70 kilometers per hour. The project is designed under the order from Colombia, which will operate on routes with heavy passenger traffic.
