The Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin told about the solemn reception of the Ukrainian national team team Invictus Games in Toronto and plans to open a Consulate General of Ukraine in Edmonton.
“I’m not very emotional person, but talking to our guys and the atmosphere that prevailed during the greeting team, really impressed me. It was really phenomenal,” said Klimkin.
He added that the whole visit of the President of Ukraine and his team in Canada was full of positive emotions.
“Even such a simple news as the opening of our Consulate General in Edmonton, what we plan to do next year, too, was very emotional. We have long planned this, but the ad could do just now,” – said the Minister.
Note that now Ukraine has a diplomatic mission in three cities of Canada Embassy and Consulate in Ottawa, the Consulate General in Toronto and honorary Consulate in Vancouver.
