On California beach Pacifica state on 5 August hosted the world Cup of surfing among dogs.
The first competition for surfing among dogs passed in 2006 in California. Then, on the Board stood a few dozen surfers and their pupils.
By 2017, the number of participants increased significantly. The championship was attended by dogs of various breeds and sizes.
All participants go into the water in lifejackets. This is a mandatory condition of the competition. Also dogs must have the experience of riding the surf.
First place in the championship was taken by 11-year-old Australian Abbie breed Kelpie.
