In Britain wrecked the world’s largest aircraft

Airlander 10 is caught on the branches of trees.

On Saturday, November 18, the next test of the world’s largest aircraft, Airlander 10, held in England, ended in failure – the aircraft fell on the field, in the County of Bedfordshire.

The cause of the fall was that the Airlander 10 was hooked for branches of trees that broke his shell. 20-ton cab Airlander 10 was completely destroyed. The first flight tests of the Airlander 10 was held August 17, 2016.

Airlander 10 is a hybrid plane, blimp and helicopter. Its length is about 92 metres. The developers believe that the aircraft can climb to a height of nearly 5 km and can reach speeds of up to 150 km/h, with a working capacity of 10 tons. This aircraft can fly without landing and without a pilot three weeks and sit on the ground or on the water.

Airlander exceeds in length the largest passenger aircraft Airbus A380 and Boeing 747-8 approximately 20 metres and approximately ten metres longer than the Antonov An-225. His own weight up to 38 tons. The crew consists of two people, an unmanned mode.

The vessel is equipped with a helium-filled cylinders. However, the shape of the Airlander allows him to use the lift, as the wing of the aircraft.
