Caretaker of the zoo in Cambridgeshire in England, died after the attack of the tiger, which had entered the enclosure.
The incident occurred in the zoo Hamerton Zoo Park, visitors had to be evacuated from the zoo.
“The tiger entered the cage along with the warden. Unfortunately, the caretaker of the zoo died on the spot”, — quotes the channel of the police of the County. According to police, the animal went beyond the boundaries of the enclosure.
Also the police said that the incident “does not seem suspicious.”
“It seems that it was an accident”, — reads the statement of the zoo. “Never in the course of the incident, the animals never left their cages, and never to public safety that is threatened,” the statement reads.
Representatives of the zoo said about the investigation. The Park will be closed for the next day.
