The largest tourist exhibition-ITB opened Wednesday in Berlin. It involved representatives of about 10 thousand companies from more than 180 countries, including Ukraine.
In fact, it is a mirror of the international tourism industry, the main forum of the industry, covering the whole world. It includes all areas and all aspects of the chain of creation of tourist product.
“For 50 years, tourism is experiencing a period of steady continuous growth. During this time, the number of tourists worldwide has increased from one million to more than a billion,” – said at the opening of the Executive Director of the Berlin exhibition Christian Huck.
During the exhibition, in addition to viewing the exhibits, you can take part in various seminars, symposiums, meetings with experts, round tables for the press and so on.
At ITB presents all segments of the tourism industry – international Federation of tourism, national and regional tourist organizations, tourist and transport agencies and tour operators, hotels, insurance companies and more.
At the joint stand of the Kiev tourist Association presented 6 cities of Ukraine – Kiev, Lviv, Odessa, Kharkiv, Chernivtsi and the Dnieper, as well as 10 commercial companies.
ITB Berlin 2019 will be held on March 10 (Wednesday to Friday only for professionals). In 2018 a total of 10,000 companies and organizations from 186 countries presented their products and services on the area of 160000 sq. m approximately 170000 visitors, including 110000 professionals.
